Have no fear! You will get
used to driving on the "wrong" side of the road in no time.
The Londoners are for the most part polite drivers, and will give
way when called for, and rarely hoot you .
However, road rage has become a more common phenomenon in recent
years, so it's not wise to argue with a London driver.
"Roundabouts" are very common. Always give way to those
on the roundabout, and wait your turn to enter the flow of
traffic.
On motorways, watch out for the huge number of lorries (trucks)
that require very strong nerves to drive alongside!
Prepare yourselves for plenty of "traffic jams", most of
which are caused "road works". |
